Marco Specialties Debuts Super-Band Pinball Rubber Replacements

LEXINGTON, SC -- Now available from Marco Specialties are "high-reliability" replacements for traditional rubber components of pinball machines. Called Super-Bands, they're formed of a customized polyurethane material engineered to provide the same "bounce" as traditional soft 45-durometer-hardness rubber used for flipper bands and bumper rings, while offering improved durability and ball control. Developed and trademarked by JCS Pinball (Cranberry Township, PA), Super-Bands are offered in a color spectrum ranging from black gloss through red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet translucent gloss to translucent white. They're available in standard 3" and mini 2" flipper sizes. Additional varieties of rubber replacement parts are under development. According to Marco Specialties, Super-Bands are more resistant to abrasion and deterioration from exposure to ozone and ultraviolet light than traditional pinball rubber components. They provide equal or better tactile response, are less porous and wipe clean with a cloth. They do not retain dirt the way rubber does, and their vibrant translucent colors can add eye-appeal to any game.

Marco Specialties, which went online in 1999, is a leading e-retailer for pinball machine parts and supplies. Its extensive catalogue lists both commonplace and hard-to-find parts, and it ships more than 33,000 different parts and kits from its South Carolina warehouse to flipper game operators and collectors.

JCS Pinball offers high-rebound products conceived by pinball enthusiasts, formulated by Ph.D. polymer chemists and produced at the company's Pennsylvania facilities under ISO-9001-certified quality controls.

Relatively speaking that is. Progress was made in both the Links page and the Tech tips section of the site. Still lot's more to do and not being a coder I am learning as I go. Take a look at the new sections and let me know what you think.
